Lincoln aka Linc

Meet Lincoln (Linc), the registered therapy dog, who frequents the office with his best friend Kim Heiar, to provide canine companionship to our clients. Linc is a hypoallergenic Goldendoodle who enjoys providing affection, comfort, and support to our clients. Linc has grown up in a loving yet busy Midwest family exploring and thriving as a member of their family and participating in a variety of activities and frequently meeting new people. While Linc is a great companion for anyone who loves canine support, he seems to particularly skilled at working with our adolescent clients. His mellow temperament and eagerness to please makes Linc a calming and relaxing presence in the therapy setting.

Linc holds his therapy dog certification, is a Good Canine Citizen sponsored by the American Kennel Club and holds the Trick Dog Certification from AKC. Linc is currently working on his contact hours to reach his goal of becoming a AKC Distinguished Therapy Dog earning him the Therapy Dog Distinguished Title, (THDD).

Marley

Marley is a 9 year old Goldendoodle, and accompanies her mom, Megan, for in person sessions. She holds a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate through the American Kennel Club, and she has been a

Registered Therapy Dog with Pet Partners for 8 years. She has thoroughly enjoyed her role of bringing smiles and comfort to individuals in assisted living and residential treatment facilities, as well as mom's therapy office.

Marley loves to greet clients when they arrive, and she is content to take their lead on how much engagement they would like. If clients are not interested in working with Marley, she will happily lay by mom's feet during the session. She is also a wonderful companion and is eager to support clients who wish to practice relationship skills. Animals often provide a safer attachment relationship to practice attunement, setting boundaries, and communication skills.
